Customer Service Representative

Job Description

Document Systems Inc. is currently looking for an exceptional customer service representative to join our team. This position is responsible for inbound/outbound phone calls and assisting customers' with their needs.

POSITION OBJECTIVE:

Primary intent of this position is to provide solutions to our customers using our products/software.

A successful candidate will be outgoing, professional, possess strong multi-tasking skills, show initiative and have great attention to detail.  Must also be dependable and have the drive to learn the product inside and out.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Ensure customers are being serviced as scheduled in a timely, calm and professional manner

Ability to interact positively and professionally with customers, employees and vendors

Conduct outbound motivational and support calls to our members that are engaged in our product/software

Maintain a 100% customer satisfaction outlook at all times

Determine/recommend problem resolution by using good judgment inside legal boundaries and guidelines.  Ability to adapt in a fast paced environment

Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Ability to conduct calls utilizing scripted materials

Excellent telephone manner with clear, concise and professional communication skills

Good listening skills and excellent interpersonal skills essential

Well-developed computer skills with a high level of accuracy required

Must be flexible and have the ability to work on multiple tasks and programs

Prior customer service/phone experience required.

APPLICANT QUALIFICATIONS:

Strong problem solving skills; possess a high level of expertise, proficiency and business maturity in dealing with customers.  Mortgage industry knowledge and experience a plus.

Self-motivated individual, able to exercise good judgment; require minimal supervision; must be able to translate general direction into specific objectives; computer literate - experience with MS Word and Outlook.
