Job Description
As part of our explosive growth we are looking for a Senior J2EE Developers to contribute to our product development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for design and development of new features and updates to our line of products utilizing state-of-the-art technologies, take part in design discussions and turn software requirements into functioning modules and features. The developer will receive direction from the Development Manager and s/he will work both independently and as part of a team thriving on technical challenges.
Responsibilities
- Expert J2EE developer in distributed web based systems
- Team player collaborating with the product team on features and improvements
- Analyze, develop and maintain complex middle-tier and data layer components
- Enhance product robustness, performance and scalability
- Add value by being current with all new software, plugins and frameworks
- Provide architectural solutions and design suggestions
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years proven technical background in JAVA and J2EE technologies
- Must have worked in Java 1.6, J2EE 1.4, Serlvet, JSP, Spring, Hibernate, JMS, XML/RPC and WebServices
- Experience in Eclipse, Maven, MySQL, Linux is required
- Experience in front-end components, Javascript, JQuery, JSON, AJAX is a plus
- Must be analytical and have strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Willing to work under pressure and deliver on time
