Effective
immediately, FHA single family claim-related remittances must be sent using the
“Claim Remittance” feature in FHA Connection. This feature can be accessed
through the FHA Connection by selecting Single Family Servicing, Claims
Processing, and Claim Remittance. Banking information can be
entered securely during the one-time cash flow account setup using the Cash
Flow Account Setup module in FHA Connection.
This
change in the remittance process was announced in Mortgagee
Letter 2011-08 “FHA Single Family Insurance Claims Accounts Receivable
Subsystem (ARS) Remittances: Pay.gov Implementation.” The Guidance
