The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) issued a final rule making technical corrections and certain clarifying amendments to HUD's RESPA regulations promulgated by a final rule published on November 17, 2008. HUD has identified certain needed technical corrections and other regulatory provisions where additional clarification was deemed as being helpful. To read the Federal Register, read here.
