ML 08-29: HOPE for Homeowners Origination Guidance

Mortgagee Letter 2008-29 provides information, instructions, and guidance for originating a loan under the HOPE for Homeowners (H4H) Program.  The Program is designed to assist borrowers facing difficulty in paying their mortgages to refinance into affordable FHA-insured mortgages.  The Program is effective for endorsements on or after October 1, 2008 through September 30, 2011.
