Paralegal Graduates: A Not So Common Graduation Story

Written by Tammy Zhu

On June 8th, 2007, DocMagic, Inc.'s paralegal, Mark Delgadillo, walked at his commencement ceremony at El Camino College in Torrance, California, where he earned his Associate of Science degree and Paralegal Certificate. Mark previously interned with DocMagic's Legal/Compliance Department where he proved his capacity to work hard and succeed. DocMagic hired Mark as a paralegal in its Legal/Compliance Department in June, 2006.

When asked what his favorite thing is about working at DocMagic, Mark does not hesitate to answer succinctly, "The environment." He then thinks of a way to explain it, and as he thinks, he smiles. He finally comes to the conclusion that somehow the work environment just makes him "excited to come to work everyday." When asked about his graduation, Mark acts as if it were no big deal. That may be because Mark still has big dreams and at least one more graduation to pursue. Right now, Mark focuses on completing his B.S. in Business, with a concentration in finance, real estate, and law. Then he shifts his attention away from himself and expresses that what matters most about his graduation is the support and zeal that he received from his family and DocMagic. And, at DocMagic, we are both proud and lucky to have someone as competent and special as Mark.
