The Holiday Season is a very special time. As each year comes to a close, we take a few moments to be thankful for the many blessings we have enjoyed throughout the year. While I find myself thankful all year long for the many wonderful people in my life, whether they are family, fellow employees of DSI, our customers or our partners... it's important that we all take the time to share those feelings with those we care about.

As I look out over the team of hard working people who have helped build Document Systems, DocMagic, LoanMagic and our other products and services, I am filled with an overwhelming sense of pride. There is no other team-in any business-that can compare with these wonderful people. They truly understand what customer service means and they deliver it every single day. Our standards are high, our customers are demanding and our workload is heavy and yet our turnover is so low that it can barely be measured. These people have found a home here and for that I am profoundly happy.

One call to our offices would convince even Scrooge himself that the Holiday spirit is alive and well at DSI. And it's that way here all year long. Every call from any of our customers is celebrated as an opportunity for us to shine. The people who use our products and services are the best competitors in their markets. They clearly see the need for what we offer, they push us to ensure that our products fit their changing requirements and they appreciate our value. In short, they are exactly the kind of people every service provider wants to serve. Many of our customers have been using our products for over a decade, some almost two decades. They have become, in every sense of the word, part of our extended family. We are thankful for every single one of them.

Because the work accomplished by the businesses we serve becomes more complicated every year, it has become important to coordinate our activities with other business partners in order to better serve our customers. In this way, we have met many wonderful people. I am consistently impressed by the caliber of people working in this industry and I am very proud of the partnerships we have created with many of them over the years.

While the Holiday Season traditionally ends with a celebration of the New Year ahead, many in our industry are fearful of the many changes that we all expect to see in 2008. I simply don't share in the pessimism that seems so prevalent today. Next year will be challenging, but talent and passion will always overcome adversity. My New Year's wish is that you, like our team at DSI, will be up to the challenge, whatever the future may bring.
