Causes for GFE's, Fatal Errors, and I/O Errors
COMMENTS GFE's or Group Format Errors mean that the data in the table has
gotten
corrupted. Data corruption can occur for a variety of reasons,
including...
1. Bad cabling.
2. Power fluctuations.
3. Hardware
errors
4. No record locking
5. User aborts a process.
The most
common causes are no record locking, or rebooting a machine while
DocMagic is
running.
