DocMagic for DOS and Novell - Sharing Violation
SYMPTOMS Novell displaying a "Sharing Violation error in device Network? when trying
to
load a DocMagic update or processing a worksheet.
SOLUTION
Technical Support has found that the item DocMagic is trying to update on
a
Network drive may contain a ?Read-Only? attribute associated with it.
Change
the attribute or make sure the Network Administrator gives all users
Admin
rights to the DSI folder and all subdirectories.
COMMENTS All DocMagic users must have "Administrator rights" to the DSI folder and
all
subdirectories. Please contact Technical Support if you have any
questions or
concerns.
