Characters Remain On The Screen After Deleted

SYMPTOMS

When using Docmagic for Windows and entering text intoentry fields, then attempting to remove characters by usingthe backspace key, the cursor moves backwards but thetext may remain in the field, allowing new text to be overtyped onto the old text

SOLUTION

To work around this problem, you must search your system for the file lpk.dlland rename it to lpk.old. You may need to configure your system to show allhidden and system files. If you are unclear on how to do this please contactyour Computer Support personnell.

If you experience problems with this work around, you may need to contactDSI's Technical Support department for a new version of LPK.DLL.
