DocMagic's Plan Selection Filter
SYMPTOMS DSI has added another enhancement to DocMagic - the Plan Selection
Filter.
This enhancement enables DocMagic users to search loan programs
faster than
ever before. With competition in the mortgage industry heating
up, lenders have
been forced to offer a greater number of loan program types
to facilitate the
needs of an increasingly diverse customer base. With more
loan programs to
choose from, selection of the correct loan program at
document processing time
can become time consuming and error
prone.
DocMagic's real-time filter instantly displays loan programs based on
the
following user-selected criteria: Investor name, Loan Type, Interest Rate
Type,
ARM Interest Adjustment and/or Interest-only designation.
Once you
have chosen your filter criteria, you may view more detailed
information
about the loan programs selected with your criteria, such as: Per
Diem
Interest Days, 1st Interest Change Months, Interest Change Months, 1st
Pay
Change Months, Pay Change Months, 1st Interest Cap, Interest Change
Cap, Life
Cap and Interest Only Months.
You can also sort each plan column in
alphabetical or numerical order with a
single mouse click on the applicable
column header(s). For example, if you wish
to view your loan programs in
alphabetical order by investor name, simply click
on the column header
entitled "Investor." If you want to view all ARM loan
programs beginning with
the shortest initial fixed-rate period, click on the
column entitled "1st Int
Chg Mos."
SOLUTION
From the DocMagic worksheet screen, select the "Plan Code" field and click
the
drop arrow to access the Plan Selection window.
Once the Plan
Selection Filter screen appears, simply select your criteria values,
and your
loan program display will instantly update to reflect only applicable
loan
programs.
Click the individual column headings to further investigate
applicable loan
program parameters.
