How to properly input Impounds into DocMagic
SYMPTOMS How to properly input Impounds into DocMagic
COMMENTS Entering Property Taxes properly:
1. If the state that you are
drawing documents in is collecting Property Taxes
more than once a year,
change the 'Payments/Year' field from '1', '2', '3',
or '4'. This simply
means that the state in question is required to collect 2 or
more tax
payments a year.
2. In the 'Payment Amount' field, input the semi-annually,
tri-annually, or
quarterly dollar amount to be collected every month.
3.
In the 'Due Date' field, click on the word 'Due Date'. You will receive a
pop-
up window that will state 'Impound Due Dates'. On this screen, you must
input
all of the dates in which tax payments are to be disburse. Line 1 being
the date
of the next disbursement after the 1st payment date of the loan.
Then, hit enter
to input the second disbursement date, etc.
4. After all
due dates have been entered, click 'Ok'. Hit your 'Enter' or 'Tab'
key to
automatically calculate the number of months to be collected at
closing.
