SYMPTOMS

How do I import multiple records from CALYX POINT into LoanMagic?

SOLUTION

1. Within Point, select the Find tab and press the Report button.
2. When prompted, select the LoanMagic.rpt report template file.
3. Create the Report file in Point.
i. Select the Primary Data Folder and press the Generate Report button.
ii. Press the Generate Report For Borrowers button (or Prospects, where
applicable).
iii. Press the Export ASCII button.
iv. When prompted, uncheck the Include Field Names in First Row.
v. Set the field separator to be ',' (comma).
vi. Set the text qualifier to be '"' (double quote).
vii. Press the Export button. When prompted, save the file as POINTEXP.TXT
in the default directory.
4. Within LoanMagic, Select File -> Import and Export... to launch the Data
Exchange Wizard.
5. Choose Import from another program or file and press Next.
6. Choose Import from Calyx Point and press Next.
7. Select Import multiple records using point report template as the Import
Type.
8. Press Import.
NOTE: Only borrower information (contact information, subject property details,
etc.) and liabilities are imported.
