Mortgage technology company introduces the industry's first fully integrated
mortgage customer contact management system for loan officers
CARSON, Calif. - May 12, 2003 - Document Systems, Inc., (DSI), a mortgage technology company that develops tools and processes for producing and completing compliant loan document packages, released the industry's first fully integrated mortgage customer contact management system specifically designed to meet the needs of loan officers, LoanMagic. LoanMagic streamlines the tasks involved with acquiring leads, managing contacts and gathering all personal and credit information necessary to secure a loan.
According to DSI officials, LoanMagic was developed to improve the process of gathering information at the front-end of the loan process. It provides loan officers with a tool to help them before, during and after the sale of a loan by enabling them to manage leads and client information, compare loans, create loan documents, schedule meetings, store financial information and transfer reports to clients and contacts.

The system interfaces with desktop underwriting programs, other third party servicer providers, is able to communicate directly with investors for locking rates and can seamlessly transfer information to DocMagic®, DSI's closing loan document production software, to create customized closing documents, eliminating the need to re-enter data.

LoanMagic is a stand-alone application that utilizes the Internet for specific tasks such as credit reports, upgrades and synchronizing data to ensure all client information is accurate. The system is Web-enabled, however, users can use the system in a disconnected manner while running LoanMagic on multiple electronic devices at the same time (i.e. office pc, home pc, notebook computer, etc.).
