BALTIMORE, Md. - On the heels of its release of LoanMagic, a tool to help originators track and close mortgage borrowers, Document Systems, Inc., Carson, Calif., has launched FillMagic, a new tool designed for the creation of mortgage forms and document packages. The company made the announcement at the National Association of Mortgage Brokers annual convention here.

FillMagic will offer enterprise clients added security, instantaneous processing response times, unlimited scalability, flexibility and distributed processing, the company said.

The Java-based form-fill engine can run independently or via a Web server and allows lenders to electronically complete mortgage forms by using an XML request file to transfer data to and from the client's loan origination system. Lenders can access forms from within DSI's DocMagic national library of more than 50,000 compliant forms to meet unique needs.

"Depending upon the need of the lender, FillMagic can control the document selection, print/view and electronically transfer the documents," said Don Iannitti, president and CEO of Document Systems. "Providing lenders the ability to purchase customized forms eliminates the existing burden of developing their own forms."

The tool is MISMO compliant and can be integrated into any LOS that follows MISMO standards.
