Also Known As “AKA” & Power of Attorney “POA”

To enter the Also Known As or "AKA" information for a borrower, click on the "Details" button in the "Borrowers/Sellers" tab (see below image).  The information entered in this field will appear on the Signature Affidavit and AKA Statement (DocMagic form name AKA.LSR).

When entering a Power of Attorney or "POA" in the DocMagic software, click on the "Details" button in the "Borrowers/Sellers" tab (see below image) and enter the name of the person who will be signing as the Power of Attorney Signer (i.e., attorney-in-fact, agent). In the signature blocks of applicable documents, the signature blocks will read:

  • Sample Borrower by POA Test, Attorney-In-Fact
  • Sample Borrower by POA Test, His/Her Agent (Illinois1, New York2, Pennsylvania3 and Wisconsin4 only)
