The CFPB released a bulletin and interim final rule that provides guidance to provide greater clarity to the market concerning mortgage servicing rules that take effect in January 2014. Specific guidance includes how to implement certain areas of the 2013 Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) and Truth In Lending Act (TILA) Servicing Final Rules.
