Pennsylvania Adopts Regulation on Proper Conduct of Lending and Brokering

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Department of Banking has adopted its regulation regarding the proper conduct of lending and brokering in the mortgage loan business, which will be codified at 10 Pa. Code § 46.1 et seq.  The regulation requires liscensees to provide a one-page disclosure form prescribed by the Department, requires licensees to perform an ability to repay analysis when offering a loan to applicants, and prohibits licensees from doing a number things.  For more information, please see the Pennsylvania Bulletin dated December 30, 2008, here.
