On October 7, 2009, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) updated the FAQs concerning implementation of the new Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act (RESPA) rule. The updated FAQs can be found on HUD's website here. The new items will appear in bold.
