Q1.
Can the borrower be invited to the portal? Can they receive their CD this way?
A1.

The system utilizes DocMagic's eSign system for the electronic delivery of disclosure and documents. Once the process of refining the closing costs is complete and the file status is updated accordingly, one click instantly provides the Borrower with a branded email invitation to access their Closing disclosure and any other related documentation.

Is it possible to save the documents I have processed?
A2.

Yes. Once you have processed your request for docs, you will be given an option to create them as a .PDF or a .DBK by clicking on their respective buttons. When the documents are displayed on your screen, you simply click the "Save" button from the menu bar and you will select the location to which your file will be saved to.

How do I request an eDisclosure?
A3.

Once you have processed your Pre-Disclosure in DocMagicXL, simply click the "Email" button. Select the eDisclosure option and click the "Send" button.

Can DocMagicXL be installed on a Network?
A4.

No. DocMagicXL is a Java based application that must be installed on each local machine. If you would like to run DocMagicXL in a Terminal Service environment please contact Technical Support at 800-649-1362 or techsupport@docmagic.com for more information.

How do I register a loan with MERS?
A5.

After you have ordered and processed your documents, to register the loan with MERS, simply click the "MERS" button located on the Processing screen.

How do I email my documents?
A6.

After you have ordered and processed your documents, you can email the documents by clicking the "Email" button located on the processing screen.

How do I process my loan?
A7.

After you have validated your loan, selected a loan program and audited your loan, you can process your loan documents by simply selecting the type of loan package you desire from the drop-down menu and click the "Process" button. From this option you will have the ability to select from many package types such as "Loan Application, Flood Certification, Initial Disclosure, Closing Package, Servicing Transfer, or Loan Modification".

Q8.
How do I correct any "Warnings" or "Fatal" audits?
A8.

There are two methods to correcting any audits you may have. The first method is to go back into your LOS, correct the data and re-audit the file within DocMagicXL. The second method is to click the "DocMagic" button located on the audit screen. Once DocMagic Online starts simply correct your audits and process the loan.

Is there a search function in DocMagicXL?
A9.

Yes. You can find specific loans and loan programs in DocMagicXL.  To perform a search, simply click into one of the search bars above your loan or loan programs list. Next, enter your keywords to search, click ENTER on your keyboard or click the magnifying glass icon in the search field.  The list will filter according to your search criteria.  To clear your search just click the "X" icon in the search bar.

How do I log into DocMagicXL?
A10.

You have two ways to log into DocMagicXL.  You can launch it from your loan origination software or click on the desktop icon for DocMagicXL. Simply enter your current DocMagic credentials into the login screen, and if necessary, you may also be prompted to enter your credentials for your loan origination software. How do I add new Loan Programs to DocMagicXL?
A11.

All Administration for DocMagicXL must be done from the www.docmagic.com. To access Account Administration simply select "My Account". This option gives account administrators the ability to add/remove users, update current user profiles, update passwords, add/remove user services and add/remove plans.

Can I use DocMagicXL independently of my Loan Origination Software?
A12.

Yes. Simply double-click on your DocMagicXL Desktop icon and login. You will be presented with a list of available loans. Select the loan and click next to start the "Validating" process.

How secure are internet communications with DSI's servers?

Are there going to be any additional charges or fees for DocMagicXL?
