In December 2018, Fannie Mae Selling Guide Announcement SEL-2018-09 provided information regarding a change of address for the Fannie Mae corporate headquarters.
Fannie Mae updated their corporate address in model mortgage assignment forms 3741, 3742, 3743, 3744, 3745, and 3746. The announcement advised that lenders could use the new address immediately but extended the mandatory effective date to April 1, 2019. Therefore, all loans with notes dated on or after April 1, 2019 must have the new Fannie Mae address on the associated assignment.
Accordingly, DocMagic is updating the Fannie Mae corporation address for all applicable mortgage assignment forms. The revised forms will be available in production on March 1, 2019.
