Gavias Blockbuider David Garrett
David Garrett is the Integration Services Manager at DocMagic, Inc., where he oversees the Integration and Technical Support teams while playing a key role in product development.
He has spent the bulk of his career dedicated to the mortgage industry, with a focus on integration engineering and connecting disparate technology systems. David has worked for both mortgage lenders and mortgage technology vendors, designing and supporting complex technology environments that advance the mortgage lending process.
He is actively involved in the Mortgage Industry Standards Maintenance Organization (MISMO), serving as vice chair of the Origination Workgroup, and contributing to several other workgroups, including eMortgage. He participates in the standards-making process for the SMART Doc® specification and actively promotes its adoption within the mortgage finance community. Additionally, David has been recognized as a HousingWire Magazine Insiders award winner.
David holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas.
