Update to South Carolina Late Fee & Prepayment Penalty

South Carolina is making its annual update to late fees and prepayment penalty threshold on July 1, 2026. The minimum late fee is being updated from $10.20 to $10.80 and max amount of $25.50 to $27.00. The prepayment penalty loan amount threshold is being updated from 765, 000 to new 2026 threshold of 810,000.
