Fannie Mae released Selling Guide Announcement 2014-01 to update the implementation dates increases in single family guaranty fees by 10 basis points for all maturities and applies to both whole loan and MBS deliveries as announced by Selling Guide Announcement 2013-09. The Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) directed Fannie Mae to delay implementation of all of these changes until further notice. FHFA indicated that it would give not less than 120 days’ notice after completing the evaluation before implementing any changes.
