Maine Modifies Provisions Regarding Consumer Credit Code and Multistate Licensing

The State of Maine amended the Maine Consumer Credit Code and amended its rules relating to the licensing of lenders who make supervised loans and the licensing of brokers, among other changes, pursuant to Maine Senate Paper 643.  These provisions are effective on July 15, 2014 (or 90 days after legislative adjournment).
