Apostille

A certificate that authenticates the signature, seal and position of a public official who has executed, issued or certified a copy of a public document. The certification form is set out in the Hauge Convention, abolishing the requirement of legalization of foreign publish documents.

An Apostille enables a public document issued in one country to be recognized as valid in another country.
