DocMagic has published a new document specifically for use with Shared Appreciation or Home Equity Investment (HEI) Loans in Maryland. These agreements, where homeowners share home equity growth with an investor in exchange for funds, require strict disclosure of property value calculations and repayment terms. 

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (“USDA” or “Agency”) proposed a rule to amend the Single-Family Housing Guaranteed Loan Program (“SFHGLP”) regulation to permit the financing of a single-family home with income producing Accessory Dwelling Units. Additionally, the rule proposes to clarify that borrowers may finance properties with features designed to accommodate home-based operations with non-commercial real estate features.
